10 Transparent Animals in the World

These animals are found various over the world, you wondered, isn't? check it out!!!

1. Transparent Jellyfish
Jellyfish is found in every ocean, from surface to the deep one. And this one is a transparent jellyfish, a member of the phylum Cnidaria, swim freely. Most of jellyfish is so transparent; it's hardly to be seen. The transparent jellyfish on above picture is from the genus Arctapodema, about 2.5 centimeters or 1 inch. 





2. Transparent Larval Shrimp
This unique shrimp found in waters around Hawaii. This shrimp riding on the same jellyfish translucent view.


3. Transparent headed Fish 
It is known as Barreleye (Macropinna microstoma), live in the deep water. This fish has a transparent head and tubular eyes are very sensitive and lidded bright green lenses.


The eyes are pointing up when the fish seeking for foods on its head. In addition, lead to the front when this fish is eating. Two specks above the fish's mouth (but they aren't the eyes), these are olfactory organs called nares, likened to the human nostril.  

4. Glass winged Butterfly
Greta oto is a name for this butterfly. It has a brushed legged and translucent wings, many found from Mexico to Panama, central America.


And a more unique and interesting one is tissue between the veins of its wings look like glass.


5. Transparent or Glass Frog
This frog included in family Centrolenidae amphibians, order Anura. The original one was found at Venezuela. Generally, most of the glass frog are lime green. Some frogs' abdominal skin are also transparently, so the liver, heart, and digestive tract can be visible through their transpicuous skin.


6. Glass Squid
Teuthowenia pellucida or transparent squid has light organs on the eyes and has the ability to coiled into the ball, looks like hedgehogs live in the water.



Found in the southern hemisphere oceans, this squid is a prey of many deep sea fish (such as goblin sharks),whales and sea birds.

7. Transparent Fish Icefish
Fish crocodile icefish (Channichthyidae) found in the deep water of ice around Antarctica and southern South America. This fish preys on krill, copepods, and other fish. The blood is transparent because this fish has no hemoglobin or lack of erythrocytes (red blood cells). The metabolism depends only on the oxygen dissolved in the liquid blood and absorbed immediately through the skin.


8. Transparent Zebrafish created by Scientists
This nice zebrafish is the only one scientists' creation, 2008, with the aim for studying disease processes, involve the cancer spread. It is easier for researchers at Children's Hospital Boston to directly view the internal organ of fish and examine several different processes, such as tumor growth in the living organisms. 


9. Salpa Transparent
Salpa is a jellyfish-like animals eats small plants in the water, called as phytoplankton (marine algae). They are tubular ranged from 1-10 centimeters in size and translucent colored.


9. Transpa amphidod


Named as Phronima, an unusual animal was found in the mountain regions of deep sea expedition in the North Atlantic. In order to survive, this tiny creature shows everything belonging to, inside and out, in an effort to disappear.
